Mr. Linward Ishmael Morris

Mr. Ishmael "Ish" Morris, 72, of Plains, GA passed away Friday August 11, 2017 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Plains Baptist Church, with the Rev. Buck Kinney officiating. A visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall. Mr. Morris was born September 5, 1944 in Americus, GA, Son of the late Linward Dudley Morris and the late Dorothy Emma Bartlett Morris. He was the founder, and operator, of Pro-Tech Security Group. He was a former member of the Plains Lions Club and was on the Plains Better Home Town Board. He served as Fire Chief for the Plains Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Plains Baptist Church. Survivors include his Wife: Kaye Harper Morris of Plains, GA. A Daughter: Lanette Morris Yates (Bill) of Birmingham, AL. A Son: Linward Lance Morris (Becky) of Plains, GA.
