Mrs. Linda Sutton Monroe

Ms. Linda Sutton Monroe age 74, passed away on Friday January 26, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 from the graveside at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pastor Warren Alford and Pastor Dennis Shramm will officiate the service. The family will greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31st at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Linda Sutton Monroe was born in Albany, GA on September 29, 1949 daughter of the late Eddie Rudolph Sutton and the late Leona "Pink" Herndon Sutton. She was the oldest of four (Debbie, Rudy, and Renee). She was Linda to her Leighton and friends, Mama Linda to the many children she took care of in her home day care. She was "Gee Gee" to Allie, Lexi, Christopher, Olivia, and Jamie. She was Mama to Michelle (Zack), Lisa (Tim), and Ashleigh (John). She wore many hats and titles. She was loved by all who knew her.
