Kenneth W. Castleberry Jr.

Mr. Kenneth W. Castleberry Jr. age 75, passed away Thursday morning, April 30, 2015 at Lillian Carter Health & Rehab in Plains, Ga.  A Memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services Rev. William Hall will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to service time burial will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors.  Asked to serve as honorary pallbearers are his special friends; Tony Cox, Logan Felts, Lane Lacy and Ryan Lacey. Mr. Castleberry was born October 4, 1939 in Smithville, Ga. the son of the late Kenneth W. Castleberry Sr. and Maude Murray Castleberry.  He was retired from the US Army serving during the Vietnam era where he obtained several medals including the Purple Heart, was a member of the Fraternal Organization of Purple Heart recipients and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
