Mr. Kenneth Brownlee

Mr. Kenneth Brownlee age 87, passed away Sunday, May 05, 2024 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Central Baptist Church. Dr. Bryan Myers will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Kenneth Brownlee was born June 15, 1936 in Early county. He was the son of the late Claud Brownlee and the late Donnie Allen Brownlee. He moved to Americus and worked for the Locker Plant and Studstill's as a Butcher. In 1978 he opened his own meat market known as Brownlee Grocery and operated the store for 46 years. Mr. Brownlee had a way of treating costumers and knowing just how to serve them. He made all his customers feel special and had a heart for helping those in need. He was a true example of a hardworking, Christian man, living his faith by serving and caring for others. His country store was a place where farmers spent early mornings drinking coffee...
