Mr. Kelso Oscar Gooden

Mr. Kelso Oscar Gooden, 89 of Americus, GA passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 20, 2025. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 to 7:00 P. M . A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Americus, GA at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Rusty Mauldin, Rev. Keith Parks and Rev. Colton Tautan will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Kelso Oscar Gooden was born December 10, 1935 in Dayton, TN. He was the son of the late Fred Sherman Gooden and the late Margie Lee Rice Gooden. Mr. Gooden retired from Oxford Construction Company, where he worked in Accounting. He enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid Georgia fan. He was a devoted grandfather, spending his time watching his grandchildren play sports.
