Kelly Wise Buchanan

Kelly Wise Buchanan, age 60, of Plains, GA, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family. A family service will be planned at a future date.

Kelly was born October 7, 1965, to Brooks and Beverly Buchanan. He graduated from Southland Academy, then later graduated from Georgia Southwestern, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and created lifelong friends. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being a father to two boys, a grandfather, a son, and a brother. Kelly worked for Arrow Exterminators.

He is survived by his two sons, Cody Wise Buchanan (Jaymi), Cory Brooks Buchanan. The mother of his children, Jenny. His two grandchildren, Kenzlie and Sam. He is also survived by his mother, Beverly Wise Buchanan, and his brother, Tim Buchanan. Aunt Jean Buchanan Howell (Russell) of Americus, Ga. Uncle David Wise (Jane Ann) of Miami, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brooks Buchanan.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made out to Phoebe Sumter Hospice. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Phoebe Sumter Hospice for the exceptional care of Kelly during these difficult times.
