Kathryn (Wilson) Davis

Mrs. Kathryn Wilson Davis age 78 formerly of Americus, died Monday October 13, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan Alabama. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 16, 2014 at Oak Grove cemetery. Rev. William Hall will officiate. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday October 15th at Aldridge Funeral Services. The family will receive friends at 109 Lynn View drive Americus at other times.     Mrs. Davis was born November 24, 1935 in Americus, daughter of the late Jack Wilson and the late RosaLee Patton Wilson. Mrs. Davis was retired from Sumter County Board of Education where she worked as a Book Keeper. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.     Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law Kathy Smith of Kennesaw, Ga., Sue Gay and Jody of Leesburg, Ga. and Janet Dudley and Bob of Grand Ridge, Fl.; two sisters Dorothy Morris of Centerville Ga. and LeNoir Arnold of Americus; a brother and sister-in law James Allan "Jimmy" Wilson and...
