Juanita Katie Ellis

Mrs. Juanita Katie Ellis age 84, passed away at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center Monday morning, May 12, 2014.  Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Keith Parks and Dr. David Kitchens will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening May 13, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and other times the family residence 604 Felder Street.      Mrs. Ellis was born October 23, 1929 in Dexter, Arkansas, daughter of the late Jessie David Allen and Catherine Cooney Allen. She was a Legal Secretary for many years with the William E. Smith Law Firm in Americus.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Americus.      Mrs. Ellis is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law; Nancy Ellis Cochran [Mike] of Americus, Ga.
