Ms. Annie Joyce Tucker Melvin, age 85, of Leslie passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 9, 2018 graveside in the Leslie City cemetery. Rev. Lance Fendley will officiate. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Aldridge Funeral Services. The family will also receive visitors at the home of Billie Jo Jacob 380 Bagley St., DeSoto, GA Annie Joyce Tucker Melvin was born October 24, 1932 in Sumter County, daughter of the late Gladstone Gaylord Tucker and the late Mattie Eunice Autry Tucker. She worked many years for Dr. Frank Wilson, III as a secretary and later for Wal Mart. Joyce worked for Dr. Frank Wilson, IV until his office closed. She was a member of chapter 63 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Leslie Baptist Church.
