John Ellis "Scooter" Harden

Mr. John Ellis "Scooter" Harden age 67, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 8, 2015 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. William Hall will officiate.   Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening March 10, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and other times the family residence 827 Ridge St. Americus.      Mr. Harden was born November 10, 1947 in Americus, GA., son of the late Roy Ellis Harden and Sara Frances Coogle Harden.  Mr. Harden worked for Textron for twenty years where he was a Paint Technician Supervisor.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam era.
