An avid outdoorsman, Marshall had a passion for treasure hunting, fishing, and deer hunting. He possessed extensive knowledge of antiques, particularly furniture, bottles, coins, and Civil War relics, and had a unique talent for discovering valuable objects. Additionally, he enjoyed rock and roll music.
