Mr. John David Peak

Mr. John David Peak age 85 of Americus, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Mr. Peak was born March 21, 1937 in Blountstown, FL. He was the son of the late John Henry Peak and the late Vera Williford Peak. Mr. Peak graduated from George Tech. He was an active member and past President of many organizations in Americus, such as the Rotary Club, the Americus Chamber of Commerce, the Administrative Board of the First United Methodist Church and the United Givers. He also served as President of the Association of Miss America Pageant and President of the Miss Georgia Pageant. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Sally Peak Lanier of Americus and Brooks Nettum of Saint Marys, GA. A son Wilson Peak of New York City. A sister Patricia Berkemeir and two brothers Fred Peak and Floyd Peak. Four grandchildren, Nathaniel Peak, Claire Freedman, Lee Everett and Virginia Lanier.
