John C. Logan Sr.

Mr. John C. Logan, Sr. age 72 passed away peacefully at his residence Sunday afternoon, November 24, 2013.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 Concord United Methodist Church Rev. Gary Page will officiate.  Active Pallbearers will be Neil Hagerson, Boyd Hagerson, Chris Hagerson, Jody Hagerson, Merle Smith and James Gaston.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening November 25, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. other times the family residence 1327 Hwy. 45 North Plains, Ga.      Mr. Logan was born May 3, 1941 in Cordele, Ga. the son of the late Howard Phillip Logan and Thelma Fleeman Logan.  He was a Pharmacist in Lumpkin, Ga. before his illness, Graduated from Pharmaceutical School at Auburn University in 1963 and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.      Mr. Logan is survived by his wife of eighteen years Vicky Vinson Logan of Plains, Ga. two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen Layfield [Jacky] of Americus, Ga.
