John David "Jd" Parker

Mr. John David [JD] Parker, 70, of Huntsville, AL. passed away Saturday April 13, 2013.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Monday April 15, 2013 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL. immediately followed by the funeral service.  There will be a visitation for Mr. Parker at Aldridge Funeral Services from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday April 16, 2013 followed by a Graveside service at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy. 30 West, Americus with Rev. Gary Page officiating.      Mr. Parker was born December 20, 1942.  He received a four year degree from the University of Georgia in Agronomy, and retired from Pioneer Hybrid International in July, 2001 after 25 years of service.  He was a member of Army National Guard from 1967 – 1973.       Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Paula Parker of Guntersville, AL; daughters, Stephany Parker [Josh Phelps] of Little Rock, AR, Heather Parker of Anchorage, AK, Rebecca Shah [Jigar] of Athens, Ga., Tina...
