Ms. Joan H. Snider, age 76, of 1223 Lafayette Street, Americus, GA passed away June 22, 2016 at her place of residence. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2016 in the chapel of County Line United Methodist Church, 159 County Line Road, Ellaville, GA. Reverend Mark Kinservik will officiate. Interment will follow at County Line United Methodist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the church, an hour prior to the service. The following are asked to serve as active pallbearers: Bruce Toms, Dylon Toms, Donald Toms, Matthew Carswell, Jacob Carswell, and Robert Cromer. Ms. Snider was born September 14, 1939 in Greenville, Georgia. She was a homemaker. Ms. Snider was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Everett Maynard Hamby and Mrs. Popie Rebecca Hayes Hamby.
