Mrs. Jessie Linda Payne Parrish

Jessie Linda Payne Parrish, age 83, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Dr. Bryan Myers, Rev. Steven Wright, Rev. Rodney Powe and Richard Douglas Parrish, Jr. will officiate the service. A private interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel. Linda was born December 2, 1941 in Carnesville, GA. She was the daughter of the late U. C. Payne and the late Leota Carson Payne. She was a devoted lifetime employee of Citizens Telephone Company before her retirement in October of 2001. Linda enjoyed spending time with family. The family farm was her happy place, where she enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
