Mr. Jerry Plunkett

AMERICUS--Mr. Jerry Edward Plunkett, 51, of 126 Santa Rosa Drive, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Allan Brock will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus. The family will receive friends in the chapel at Aldridge Funeral Services on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and at other times at 201 East Hill Street. The family requests that visitors come to the back door. Mr. Plunkett was born on November 10, 1964 in Fairfax, VA, the son of the late James Nolan Plunkett and Jo Ann Virginia Flanders Plunkett. He worked for many years as a John Deer Mechanic at Ariail Implement in Americus, GA before becoming a self-employed mechanic. He was of the Baptist Faith.
