Mr. Jerry W. Dailey, Sr.

Mr. Jerry W. Dailey, Sr. , 78, of 358 Bob Hale Road, Plains, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held graveside on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, GA at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Troy Fripp will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 28 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the chapel at Aldridge Funeral Services. Mr. Dailey was born on October 9, 1937 in Preston, GA, the son of the late Simon Dailey and the late Edith Annie Jordan Dailey. Mr. Dailey served in the United States Army. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Sumter County and Webster County. He also worked as a truck driver for Burnham Van Service. Mr. Dailey loved to fish, his NASCAR Racing, and watching TV westerns. He was a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan. Mr. Dailey was of the Baptist faith.
