Mrs. Jeanie H. Sheppard

Mrs. Jeanie H. Sheppard, 85, of Americus, GA passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Americus. Rev. Keith Parks and Rev. Rusty Mauldin will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 5th at Aldridge Funeral Services. Mrs. Jeanie Mae Hicks Sheppard was born January 29, 1933 in Americus, GA daughter of the late Jack Hicks and the late Jeanie Arnold Mundy. She was the former owner and founder of the Sheppard House Restaurant in Americus and was a Homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Americus. Survivors include her daughter, Jena Sheppard of Americus; a son and daughter-in-law, Tracy Sheppard (Kelly) of Americus; four grandchildren, Jennifer Turner (Rielly), Candace Jones (Dalton), Taylor Sheppard, and Davis Sheppard.
