James Ralph Wells

Mr. James Ralph Wells, age 74, passed away Thursday morning, March 5, 2015 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Salem United Methodist Church.  Rev. Lawrence Wiggins and Rev. Bill Dupree will officiate.  Interment will follow at Buena Vista City Cemetery in Buena Vista, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening March 6, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and other times the family residence 125 Marvin McNeill Road Americus.      Active pallbearers will be, Jimbo Littlefield, Tim Littlefield, Paul Hall, Joey Wells, Michael Magee and Mike Gurley.  Honorary pallbearers will be, Don Highnote, Al Hargrove, Bill Thompson, Buddy Thompson, Horace Snider, Wayne Jernigan, Billy Smith, Edward "Pobitty" Reynolds and Herbert Tante.      Mr. Wells was born August 10, 1940 in Ellaville, Ga. the son of the late Dan Wells and Ruby Allen Wells.  Mr. Wells graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in accounting and...
