Mr. James Hoyt Jarrell

Mr. James Hoyt Jarrell, age 70, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025 at his home. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Oak Grove Cemetery. A separate memorial service will be held in Atlanta at a later date. Father Randy Nelson will officiate the service. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. James Hoyt Jarrell was born March 15, 1955 in Atlanta. He was the son of the late Frank Bassett Jarrell and Marion Ellis Jarrell, whom survives. He earned a Master's degree from the University of Georgia and worked in Industrial and decorative concrete finishes. James enjoyed music; he was an accomplished musician. He loved camping and riding motorcycles. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a member of Grace New Hope Baptist Church in Grayson, GA.
