Mr James Dow Conger

Mr. James Conger, Sr., a beloved father and grandfather, age 73, of Plains, passed away early Thursday Morning December 7, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Plains United Methodist Church. Rev. R.T. Beverly will officiate. Interment will follow in Lebanon cemetery in Plains. A visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 6 – 8 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services. Mr. Conger was born February 23, 1944 in Albany Ga. son of the late Benjamin Dow Conger and the late Lillie Mae Barfield Conger. He was a life time self-employed Contractor. Mr. Conger was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife Patricia Chavers Conger; three sons and daughters-in-law James Dow Conger Jr. (Polly) of Ellaville, Charles Douglas Stewart of Ellaville and Benjamin D. Conger (Kathy) of Plains.
