Mr. James Thurston Clary

James Thurston Clary, age 65, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Central Baptist Church. Rev. Al Crumpton, Rev. Stephen Fripp and Rev. Steve Golden will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at Central Baptist Church. The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers; Steve Lashley, Donnie McCrary, Jim Covington, Chris Toms, Joshua Toms, Bobby Pilcher, Kenny Phillips and Buster Pilcher. The Rotary Club and the Pool Peeps will be honorary pallbearers. James Thurston Clary was born April 3, 1959 in Sandersville, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Hunter Clary and the late Christine Amerson Clary. Thurston worked in broadcasting his entire working career.
