Mr. Jack Cone Carroll

Mr. Jack Cone Carroll age 89 of Americus, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains. Dr John Walker will officiate the service. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery following the service. Jack Cone Carroll was born April 15, 1933 in Savannah, Georgia. He was the son of the late Carl Carroll and the late Leila Cone Carroll. Mr. Carroll was a retired telephone repair man for Bell South. He was Methodist by faith. Mr. Carroll is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Margie Coptsias and Ken of Plains. A sister Ann Buchanan of Savannah, GA. His two grandsons, Jett Coptsias (Hannah) of Americus, Jake Coptsias (Tanah Wheeler) of Plains. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Gracyn Williams, Addison Coptsias and Blake Coptsias and nephews, Mark Buchanan of Wyoming and Craig Buchanan of Missouri.
