Mr. Howard R Borders

Mr. Howard Russell "Curly" Borders, age 83, of 322 Judy Lane, Americus, GA passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on November 13, 2016 at his residence. A funeral will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the chapel of Bethel Baptist Church, 840 Lane Store Road, Americus, GA. Reverends Steven Golden and Freddy Hogg will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Aldridge Funeral Services. The family will also receive friends and family at the residence of Crystal and Mark Waddell, 818 South Lee Street, Americus, GA. The following will serve as active pallbearers: Bill Kipp, Everett Bryd, Danny Etheridge, Bill Horne, Charles Drake, and Walt Wingard.
