Mr. Herbert Phillip White

Mr. Herbert Phillip White age 77 of Americus, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 am until service time. The family will receive friend at other times at 232 Howard Johnson Road, Americus. The following will serve as active Pallbearers: Tyler White, Christopher Labedz, Leon White, Joey Driver, Andy Driver and Todd Bone. Employees of Sumter Electric are asked to be Honorary Pallbearers. Mr. White was born June 16, 1940 in Early county, son of the late Lucious White and the late Annie Driver White. He was a retired Lineman from Sumter Electric. Mr. White loved to garden; going to the mountains and camping and most of all, he loved his wife and family. He attended faith Baptist Church.
