Mr. Harold S. Nix

AMERICUS, GA--Mr. Harold S. Nix, 68, of 909 Post Way, Americus, GA, passed away peacefully at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center on Sunday, April 10, 2016. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Aldridge Funeral Services on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 12:00 PM. David Harper will officiate. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services prior to the funeral on Saturday morning beginning at 10:30 AM. Mr. Nix was born on August 9, 1947 in Blakely, GA to the late Mr. Leo Frank Nix and the late Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Toole Nix. He worked as a self-employed paint contractor. He was a Jehovah's Witness and was an Elder in the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
