Mr. Harold Arthur Chavers

Mr. Harold Arthur Chavers, age 71, of Plains, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023 at Lillian Carter Nursing Home in Plains. Harold Arthur Chavers was born October 1, 1952 in Americus. He was the son of the late Arthur Clyde Chavers and the late Martha Louise Toms Chavers. Mr. Chavers was a retired farmer and wood worker. He was a member of Plains Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Myra Jordan Chavers of Plains, his daughter and son-in-law, Ginger Chavers Pearce (Derrick) of Plains, his son and daughter-in-law, Chan Chavers (Mandie) of Smithville and two sisters and brother-in-law, Dianne Bankston of Americus, and Gloria Simmons (Mill) of Plains. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Logan Elliott of Americus, Hunter Pearce of Preston, Lydia Chavers of Leesburg, Jake Chavers of Smithville and a number of nieces and nephews.
