Mr. Gregg Carnes

Mr. Lumie Gregory "Gregg" Carnes, age 73 of De Soto, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at DeSoto Church. Rev. Brenda Lawson will officiate the service. The family will greet friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Gregg was born October 27, 1950 in Albany, GA. He was the son of the late C H Carnes and Ruby Walls Carnes whom survives. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Gregg was a Cowboy by trade. He was a member of DeSoto Church. In addition to his mother, Mr. Carnes is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Davis Carnes of DeSoto; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Gregory Carnes (Kim) of Americus, Dustin Brandon Carnes (Angela) of Leesburg and Mark Andrew Carnes (Lyndsey) of Newnan, GA.
