Glenda Jo Bearden Wisham, 86 of Americus, passed away Monday July 12, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. James Burke will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ideal City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Sunday July 18th in the funeral home chapel. Glenda Jo Bearden Wisham was born December 14, 1934 in Vidalia, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Homer Glenn Bearden and the late Otha Mae Warnock Bearden Almond. She was a Homemaker and attended Light House Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Sheryl Smith of Americus, Karen Simpson (Michael) Ashland, KY and Nancy Ward (Terry) of Virginia, Beach, VA. Two sons and daughters-in-law Kenny Brown (Cindy) of Americus and Doyle Brown (Molly) of Americus. Eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren also survive.
