Gladys Walker Deloach

Mrs. Gladys Walker DeLoach age 101, passed away at her daughter's residence in Mexico Beach, Fl. Friday, January 31, 2014.  Funeral services will be held from the graveside 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Betty Lou Miller will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 7, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. before the services.      Mrs. DeLoach was born January 23, 1913 in Rhine, Ga.  She was one of eight children the daughter of the late James and Sally Walker.  To her family, Mama D was a true matriarch to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great, great grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a loving, dear woman who always had a kind word and a cake ready for any occasion.  She lived most of her life in Americus, Ga.
