Mrs. Geraldine Smith Walker

Mrs. Geraldine "Jerri" Smith Walker age 88, of Preston passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at her home. She was welcomed into heavens gates by her mother, father and siblings. A funeral service will be held May 8th, 2024 2:00 P.M at the Preston Baptist Church. Rev. Raymond Smith, Rev. Chris Hess and her granddaughter, Nikki Brannon will officiate the service. The family will greet friends from 1:00 P.M until service time. Interment will follow at Preston City Cemetery. Mrs. Geraldine Walker was born April 5, 1936 in Bainbridge, GA, She was dedicated to her husband, Thomas Walker, who both shared unwavering and deep love throughout their life together. Her love for God and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
