Ms Freida Chapman Fowler

Ms. Freida Chapman Fowler age 94 of Ideal, GA., passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her residence. Graveside funeral services are planned for 11:00 am. Monday, December 4, 2017 in the Ideal City Cemetery. Phil Streetman will officiate. Ms. Fowler was born March 29, 1923 in Macon County. Daughter of the late George Clyde Chapman and the late Mable McCarty Chapman. She was a Homemaker and member of Ideal Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law Diann Hobbs of Royston, Ga. and Mona Sweigart (Randy) of North Carolina; two sons and daughter-in-law Gerald Fowler (Ruth) of Pine Mountain, Ga. and Milton Fowler of Mexico; one brother and sister-in-law Carl Chapman (Cathy) of Atlanta. Eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Ms. Fowler was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Lee Fowler and two brothers Marvis Chapman and Elton Chapman.
