Franklin Eugene "Gene" Jennings

Mr. Franklin Eugene "Gene" Jennings age 81, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Al.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 CST at Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery, Al. Dr. Rick Marshall officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. CST till service time.  A second service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, December 20, 2014 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church 304 North Bond St. in Plains Dr. Leonard Dupree officiating with burial to follow at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.      Mr. Jennings was born July 11, 1933 the son of the late Phillip David Jennings and Mamie Evelyn Thomas Jennings a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed.  He enjoyed cattle farming, family reunions, cookouts, homemade ice cream, and being part of his Sunday school class.  He was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL.      Mr. Jennings is survived by his beloved wife...
