Franklin [Frank] David Lee

Mr. Franklin [Frank] David Lee age 77, passed away at his residence early Tuesday morning, May 28, 2013.  Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services Thursday morning, May 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Kitchens and Rev. Wendy Peacock officiating, burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Bobby Barry, Hugh Peacock, Alan Barry, Tony Lee, Tim Lee, Robert Lee, Matt Coogle and Perry Brock.  The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Carol and Jimmie Bass 521 McMath Mill Road Americus.      Mr. Lee was born August 23, 1935 in Dawson, Ga. the son of the late William Arthur Lee and Myrtle Lucille McPherson Lee.  Mr. Lee worked for Manhattan Shirt Company from 1951 to 2004 then went to work for Liberty National Insurance Company, worked for seventeen years with Champion Home Builders and his last employment was a Correctional Officer with Sumter County.  He also served in the National Guard for several years and was a member of Cheek...
