Florine (Anderson) Bailey

Mrs. Allie Florine Bailey age 87, passed away Sunday morning April 21, 2013 at Magnolia Manor Retirement Center in Americus.  Funeral services will be held from the Graveside at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jim Smith officiating, grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening April 22, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at other times at the home of Linda Bartlett 107 West Dodson Street Americus.  Mrs. Bailey was born October 28, 1925 in Plains, Ga. the daughter of the late Garland Durelle Anderson and Alethea Josephine Adams Anderson.  She was a home maker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Americus, member of Ladies Auxiliary of United Transportation Union, Upper Room Sunday School Class and Plains Historical Trust.      Mrs. Bailey is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Linda Bartlett [Wade] of Americus, Sherrell Bailey also of Americus.  Daughter-in-law; Lynn Bailey of Americus,...
