Fernando "Fred" Arnoldo Hernandez Mr. Fernando "Fred" Arnoldo Hernandez, 81, passed away at his home in Americus, GA, on Sunday, October 15, 2017. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 4:00PM with the interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, GA. Father Fran Gillespie will officiate. Mr. Hernandez was born on September 12, 1936 in Camaguey, Cuba to the late Fernando Hernandez and the late Amparo Gonzales Hernandez. He was the founder, owner/operator of Hernandez Fabricating Products. He was of the Catholic faith and attended the St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include: his wife, Mary Helen Dill Hernandez of Americus, GA; 1 daughter, Dr. Mary Catherine Thorstad (Dr. Brett) of Nashville, TN; 3 sons, Robert Arnold Hernandez of Americus, GA, Michael Alan Hernandez (Lisa) of Americus, GA, Richard James Hernandez (Dana) of Americus, GA; and 9 Grandchildren.
