Mr. Felton Delano Thornton

Mr. Felton Delano Thornton age 85 of Fort Valley, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Houston County Medical Center in Warner Robin. Funeral services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. William Staggs will officiate the service. Interment with military honors will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Felton Delano Thornton was born March 25, 1936 in Gainesville, GA. He was the son of the late Perry Alexander Thornton and the late Leona Arrendale Thornton. He was a Unites States Air Force Veteran. He retired from Civil Service at Fort Gordon, in Augusta, GA. Mr. Thornton was a member of Faith Memorial Church in Martinez, Ga.
