Evie Arrington Horton

Mrs. Evie Arrington Horton age 79, passed away Thursday December 4, 2014 at Lillian Carter Health and Rehab Center in Plains. A visitation will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus, Ga. Rev. Wesley Cherry will officiate.     Mrs. Horton was born July 31, 1935 in Columbus, Ga. Daughter of the late Luther Lee Arrington and the late Ada Lee Davis Arrington. She was a Homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church.     Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Dianne Thomason [David] of Americus and one son Donald E. Barron Jr. of California; two brothers James Arrington of Midway, Ga. and Paul Arrington of Phenix City Al. Three grandchildren Pete E. Scott Jr. of Sylvester, Ga., Jonathan L.
