Mr. Eugene "Gene" Carthan Hobgood

Mr. Eugene Carthan Hobgood "Gene" age 64 of Americus, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St, Francis Hospital in Columbus. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2019 graveside at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains. Rev. Andrew Stucker and Rev. Buck Kinney will Officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 12th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Aldridge Funeral Services and other times the residence of Lark Hobgood 118 Mallard Lane Americus. The following are asked to serve as Pallbearers Jason Pierre, Andy Harbuck, Willie Pittman, John Burch, Dennis Parker, Chris Hagerson, Kevin Hagerson, Jody Hagerson and Brad Hagerson. Mr. Hobgood was born December 28, 1954 in Americus. He was the son of the late Lark Carthan Hobgood Jr. and the late Barbara Jean Hogg Hobgood. Mr. Hobgood was a retired Farmer.
