Mr. Ernie Everett Wright

Ernie E. Wright, age 81 passed away on June 18, 2024, in Americus, Georgia. Ernie was born on March 29, 1943, in Glenwood, Arkansas, to Myrkle and Gladys Wright. Ernie was one of seven children. Ernie was a skilled carpenter with skills far beyond what can be described. He and his wife Linda founded Built Wright Construction Company which was renowned in Little Rock, Arkansas. His craftsmanship was widely recognized as nothing short of genius. Ernie had a zest for life, embracing hobbies such as kayaking, exploring flea markets, thrift stores, and scouring for western books and spending quality time with his family, and riding his mule, Gus. He loved collecting Jeeps and redoing them as well as driving them. He loved making biscuits, homemade jelly, and his peanut brittle which was a delight for anyone that tasted them.
