Mr Ernest Fussell

Mr. Ernest William Fussell Jr., 83, of Americus, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA. A Funeral service will be held at the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 3:00pm. The family will receive friends in the chapel from 1:00pm until the service begins. Rev. Clay Thomas, Rev. Mark Carter and Rev. Dr. Dennis Stalvey will officiate. Mr. Fussell was born on May 27, 1934 in Lee County, Leesburg, GA to the late Ernest William Fussell Sr. and the Late Rosa Gattis Fussell. He retired from the CSX Railroad where he worked as a Trainman. He was a volunteer conductor for SAMS Shortline. He was a member of Plains Baptist Church and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Fussell also served in the United States Airforce. Survivors include: his wife, Betty Fussell of Americus, GA; A daughter, Connie Gurley (Mike) of Americus, GA.
