Mr. Emory Fouche Parker Sr, age 78, of Americus, GA died Monday, September 19, 2016 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery. Reverend Keith Parks will officiate. The family will receive friends at the residence located at 2012 Rose Ave. Americus, GA 31709. The following are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers, Charles Strickland, Len Hicks, Buddy Guth, Ray Baldwin, Ed Pope, Ross Chambliss, Bill Harris, Raymond Holt, Wally Summers, Dan Torbert, Jody Wade, Earl Dunmon, George Saratsiotis, Bobby Avant, Broadus Willoughby, Kelso Goodin, and Jim Herron. Mr. Parker was born July 22, 1938 in Americus, GA son of the late Horace Hugh Parker and the late Evelyn Fouche Parker. Mr. Parker retired from Sumter Bank and Trust as Senior Vice President.
