Mrs. Emily Scarborough Mcdonald

Mrs. Emily Scarborough McDonald, age 96, of Americus, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 12, 2019 at First Baptist Church. Reverend Rusty Mauldin will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Aldridge Funeral Services. Emily Scarborough McDonald was born February 14, 1923 in Bibb County, GA. She was the daughter of the late Herschel V. Scarborough and the late Maude Moore Scarborough. Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Tuesday Morning Bridge Club and the Morning Glory Garden Club. She volunteered with Americus and Sumter County Hospice. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Lady's Bible class.
