Mrs. Edith Patricia Thornrose

Edith P. Thornrose, age 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at her home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M Friday, September 26, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Visitation will take place from 1:00 P.M to 3:00 P.M at the church. A private interment will follow the service at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Stephen Fripp and Rev. Hugh Harbort will officiate these services. Edith Patricia Pilcher Thornrose was born January 26, 1943 to the late Robert Lee Pilcher Sr. and Edith Peggy Amerson Pilcher. She was a devoted Christian, military wife, homemaker, grandmother and great grandmother and even a great-great grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, Howard Walter Thornrose Jr. "Butch" for 56 years and traveled to many places supporting him and their family and became an international traveler.
