Dorothy "Dottie" Richardson Toms, age 47, passed away at her home unexpectedly on October 12, 2025. Funeral Services will be held Friday, 3:00 P.M October 17, 2025 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Stephen Fripp will officiate the services. The family will greet friends Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Dottie was born to the late Royce Richardson and Brenda Lee Richardson on June 19, 1978. She was a loving mother, sister, and daughter and friend to anyone she met. She had an inspiration for cooking and even earned her culinary degree. She had a heart of gold and kept everyone around her laughing with her great sense of humor. In addition to her mother, Dottie is survived by her twin sister; Donna Underwood (Tommy) of Plains, GA, her sister Nikki Cooper.
