Ms Dorothy Elizabeth Hale

Dorothy Elizabeth Hale, age 76, of Americus GA., died August 14, 2017. She was born to the late Royd and Pauline Russell in Kodak, Tennessee on August 31, 1940. She was of the Methodist faith. Many years ago, she worked as a store clerk in Plains, GA. She leaves behind one daughter; Patricia Ann Hale Westbury of Americus, GA., one son; James Russell Hale (Rhonda) of Americus, GA., 7 grandchildren; Nicholas Westbury, Robby Westbury, Allison Moody, Sheena Saint, Julie Goss, April Green and Alex Hale as well as 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister; Elsie Argo, her brothers; Billy Russell and Jr. Russell. There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Lebanon Cemetery, Plains, GA. at 10:00 am officiated by Rev. Dennis Stalvey. The family will receive friends at Aldridge Funeral Services Chapel on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. You may also pay your respects at 775 Youngs Mill Rd., Americus, GA.
