Mr Donald Harris Murray

Mr. Donald Harris Murray age 69 of Plains, Ga. passed away Wednesday morning April 4, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, April 7, 2018 from the graveside at Lebanon cemetery in Plains. Rev. Buck Kinney will officiate. The family is receiving friends at the residence 205 North Bond Street, Plains and request friends to please visit in the afternoon hours. Mr. Murray was born December 1, 1948 in Americus, son of the late Norman C. Murray and the late Edith Harris Murray. He was a retired Truck Driver and member of Plains Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Faye Murray of Plains; a daughter and son-in-law Amanda Byrd (Brian) of Atlanta and a step son Marty Blankenship of Americus. Two grandchildren Corrinne Blankenship and Riley Blankenship and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Murray was preceded in death by a sister Marvelyn Clingenpeel and two brothers Griff Murray and Clyde Murray. The family request memorial contributions be made to Plains...
