Mrs. Diane Hicks Reeves

Diane Hicks Reeves age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 20, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Diane was born December 28, 1948 in Americus. She was the daughter of the late Dan Hicks and Elsie Whitaker Hicks Schell. A 1966 graduate of Americus High School, she was voted cutest in her class. While attending Georgia Southwestern she and Gary had their first date and were married 5 weeks later. Diane and Gary spent their life devoted to their family and friends. She loved to fish and wanted to be at the beach any chance she got. She was a wonderful grandmother known as "Mimi" to her four grandchildren, who she adored more than anything. She enjoyed working alongside her husband Gary as they opened and built the business of Reeves Landscaping for over 25 years. She was a self taught horticulturalist and anyone could tell that when visiting their home. Diane served her church of Bethel Baptist for over 50 years. She treated her church like her...
