David Glenn Lee

Mr. David Glenn Lee, age 66, passed away on May 13th at Piedmont Hospital in Macon, GA. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 18th 2026, at 11:00 A.M in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. A visitation will be held Monday, May 18th from 10:00 A.M until service time.

David Lee was born August 3, 1959 in Americus, GA. He was the son of Alma Joyce Lee and the late Franklin David Lee. He enjoyed searching for arrowheads, watching old tv shows, like Andy Griffin and Gun Smoke. David attended Americus High. He worked at Wise Electric, Video Warehouse in Americus, and Sumter County Hospital.

He is survived in addition to his mother Alma Joyce Lee, by his two sons; Dylan Hayes Lee of Americus, and Brody Cash Lee (Savannah) of Albany. He is also survived by one granddaughter; Lily Lee, a number of cousins, his three aunts; Virginia Lee, Carol Bass and Joyce Coogle, along with his uncle’s Eugene Coogle and Harold Coogle. He is also survived by his special love Claire Rutland.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at WellStar Hosppital in Augusta, and Regency and Piedmont in Macon along with Hospices’ excellent care and kindness for David.
